High Society collects eleven previously unreleased tracks recorded for an album that was never finished, plus three songs intended for a split 7” with the Bingo Trappers. A catalogue number was assigned and even test pressings were made, but eventually this project was shelved as well. After gathering dust for seventeen years in the Chimney Bros. archives, these recordings are now finally available for your listening pleasure!

The Chimney Brothers (1997-2006) were an Amsterdam / Haarlem-based rock band, founded by Rik van den Bosch (vox, guitar) & Arne Wolfswinkel (guitar).

The rhythm section consisted of Wei-Ti Wu, Armand Giesbergen & Floris Band on bass, and Ruben Chatlein & Erik de Bree on drums (not at the same time though). ... more
