Although The Chimney Brothers expanded their line-up soon after they started, Rik and Arne still did acoustic gigs as a duo on a regular basis. One Saturday afternoon in October 1999, they recorded five songs in the basement of Arne's grandfather - three by Muddy Waters and two by Mississippi Fred McDowell. All songs were performed live - no overdubs - and were intended for a 7" EP, which unfortunately never materialized.
